Dear Prospective Students and Family Members,
Madison Christian Elementary goes from Pre-School students to 6th graders, and presently numbers around 270. Classrooms are self-contained in Pre-School through 2nd grade, and benefit from team teaching in the third through 6th grades.
Our elementary SAT scores average at the 76 percentile, in comparison to National Scores. All classes (except pre-school) encompass the major academic subjects along with special classes in Gym, Library, Music/Band, and Art. All classrooms are equipped with one or more student-use computers, with keyboarding instruction beginning in 4th grade.
Each class enjoys a chapel service monthly, and daily Bible lessons are taught by Godly, born again teachers who have a passion for Christ. Biblical worldview lessons are integrated into all subject areas, and discussions regarding spiritual issues are encouraged in the upper grades. Specific denominational beliefs are referred to the parents for discussions at home.
Field trips are enjoyed at all grade levels and the Accelerated Reading program keeps students constantly striving for higher levels of comprehension and reading enjoyment. As a member of the Association of Christian Schools International, our students enjoy the benefits of Speech Meets, Spelling Bees, Science Fairs, Math Olympics and Creative Writing opportunities.
