Jr. / Sr. High Chapel

At Madison Christian School we believe in integrating the Word of God daily in and out of the classroom. Our chapel services are an important part of our mission to minister to our student body and challenge our students toward a deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Chapel services include opportunities for worship, individual prayer as well as group prayer, and biblical instruction. These services are an important part of creating an atmosphere that promotes spiritual growth and integrity. Chapel for 7th through 12th grade will be held twice a month. MCS appreciates your prayers as we strive to bless our students with chapel services that encourage them toward Christian maturity and challenge their daily spiritual walk.

Praise Team: Overflow

Overflow praise team has the responsibility of leading the praise and worship time in our bi-weekly chapels throughout the school year. The praise team meets every day to plan and prepare the different aspects of our chapel including music, prayer, drama, etc. The group is made up of vocalists and an instrumental team including drums, guitar (electric and acoustic), bass, and keyboard/synthesizer. In addition to the many chapels, we may travel to other schools and churches to lead in worship. Overflow is an opportunity for high-school students to gain a proper definition of worship and leadership so that they know how to be effective worship leaders not just on the stage during chapel, but in every aspect of their lives.
