HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER TEAMS WIN SCHOLASTIC AWARDS
Congratulations to the Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls Soccer Teams. Both teams received the 2011 Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association Team Award. We are very proud of all of their accomplishments on the field and in the classroom.

PROSPECTIVE STUDENT OPEN HOUSE
On February 23rd at 7 p.m., Madison Christian School will host a special event for prospective new students and their families. We would love the opportunity to meet you and introduce you to the mission and purpose of Madison Christian School.

SPIRIT WEEK 2012
What a great week! Congratulations to the 7th grade - 2011/2012 Spirit Stick Winners! The students and staff had a great time participating in the daily themes and overall spirit week fun. We ended the week with a pep rally, the Homecoming games and the Midwinter Masquerade. It sure was a great week to be a Madison Eagle!

ALUMNI EVENT
A great big thanks to all of the MCS graduates that came out for our Homecoming Alumni event. We really enjoyed seeing everyone and catching up on life after high school. We are very proud of all of our alumni and their accomplishments.

SENIOR CHARITY PROJECTS
During the month of February, the class of 2012 will be presenting their charity projects in Government class. The entire project includes selecting a charity that impacts the local or national community, preparing and delivering a presentation that includes financial reports, examples of government involvement, and the cultural and economic impact on our society. Students will utilize technology to present a factual and motivational presentation to the class. Once all of the seniors have completed the projects, the class will choose one charity to support as a group. The seniors have done a lot of research on these projects and we are confident tha the experience will broaden their perspective on local and national charities.

CURRENT STUDENT RE-ENROLLMENT
Reenrollment for the 2012-2013 school year will begin on February 6th.

SIBLING RE-ENROLLMENT
Siblings of current students may begin to enroll for the 2012-2013 school year on February 21st.

OPEN ENROLLMENT
Open enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year begins March 1st. Applications are available at the school website and in the school offices. If you have questions about enrollment or you would like more information on MCS, please contact the school office. We would be glad to speak with you and discuss the opportunities available to your student at MCS.

MCS DRAMA DEPARTMENT PRESENTS THE JUNGLE BOOK
Madison Christian School students and staff are excited about the upcoming presentation of The Jungle Book. This year the play includes students from both the elementary and the jr./sr. high school. You will be blessed by this fun filled production. Come out and enjoy the play with your family.
March 8th at 7 p.m.
March 9th at 7 p.m.
March 10th at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

SPAGHETTI DINNER AND SILENT AUCTION WILL BE HELD MARCH 3RD
The class of 2012 would like to invite you to be a part of our annual Spaghetti Dinner and Silent Auction. The event includes dinner and the opportunity to bid on over 100 auction items. Auction items include Crew tickets, OSU football tickets, restaurant gift cards, tanning and nail packages, an OSU yard tent, oil changes, a Pepsi racing package and much, much more. You don't want to miss this evening of fun and fellowship.
All of the proceeds will go towards the senior class trip in May. The seniors will be traveling to Orlando where they will be working with the Coalition for the Homeless and the Orlando Day Nursery. Tickets may be purchased in the school offices or at the door the evening of the event. We appreciate your support.

BODY BUILDERS
As followers of Christ we are called to serve as He did. Body Builders allows the students an opportunity to learn how to serve others and help build the body of Christ. Body Builders is designed for 3rd and 4th grade students. The group meets once a month for one hour after school. Each meeting opens with scripture, prayer, and a short lesson. Then the group makes plans to be the hands and feet of Christ through conducting service projects.
