OPEN ENROLLMENT
Open enrollment for the 2012-2013 school year begins March 1st. Applications are available at the school website and in the school offices. If you have questions about enrollment or you would like more information on MCS, please contact the school office. We would be glad to speak with you and discuss the opportunities available to your student at MCS.

HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS BASKETBALL TEAM RECEIVES ACADEMIC AWARD
Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Basketball team! The team has been awarded the All-Ohio Academic Team Award for the 2011/2012 season. The team qualified by having one of the top 5 G.P.A.'s in the state of Ohio. Members of the Ohio National Guard will be presenting a plaque to the team in a special ceremony in recognition of the team's accomplishmnet. Team members include Melissa Hanshaw (12th), Emily Rose (12th), Hannah Hood (11th), Lindsay Carrier (11th), Teresa Woerner (11th), Rose Perin (11th), Sarah Renner (11th), and Clara Friend (9th).

We are very proud of our student athletes. They bring honor to the Lord both on the court and in the classrooms.

ANNUAL GOLF OUTING EVENT
Join in the fun on May 19th at the Pine Hills Golf Club. All of the proceeds will benefit the Athletic Department and the MCS Scholarship Fund. Please contact the Athletic department for details on the event.

ACSI SPEECH MEET AWARDS
MCS was proudly represented by 24 students from 4th, 5th and 6th grades at the annual ASCI Speech Meet on March 10th. We are very proud of everyone who participated.

Eros Embrey, Lexie Shepherd, and Makayla Saunders received Good Ratings.

Cameron Kimbler, Ethan Jefferson, Maya Benson, Abbey Lammers, Kiley Matheson, Michelle Wagner, Rio Benson, Abbey Beyer, Tori Mbah, Sarah King and Sadie Williams received Excellent Ratings.

Hannah Sears, Rachel Nelson, Jillian Kemper, Jennifer Neff, Gabrielle Carver, Hannah Clark, Anna-Claire Ross, Sydney Worthy, Leah Cohen, and Kennedy Gary received Superior Ratings.

The ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. This event will be a blessing to you and your family as we share in the accomplishments of the students as well as anticipate the Lord's blessing upon their future plans.

BODY BUILDERS
As followers of Christ we are called to serve as He did. Body Builders allows the students an opportunity to learn how to serve others and help build the body of Christ. Body Builders is designed for 3rd and 4th grade students. The group meets once a month for one hour after school. Each meeting opens with scripture, prayer, and a short lesson. Then the group makes plans to be the hands and feet of Christ through conducting service projects.
